Made in their factory in Koryo-cho, located in Nara prefecture, an area of Japan long renowned for its premium sock manufacturing thanks to the vintage sewing machines that have been steadily brought to the area from the USA over the last century. With such machines at their disposal, Rototo has gained a reputation for some of the finest socks in Japan, emphasizing premium yarns, comfort, and an unrestricted exploration of patterns and classic styles alike. The first Rototo season available at Double Double showcases the label’s versatility with animal print, colour blocking, and sports stripes making appearances across the range.
The Rototo Classic Crew Silk socks reimagine the original sports tube sock, with vintage rather than retro aspirations. Here in the ivory and red colourway, this sock is crafted from a luxurious yet durable silk blend fabric, with ribbed construction above the ankle. These socks achieve a vintage, '50s-inspired sports aesthetic via the use of a single wide stripe around the leg and an off white body.
Made in Japan from 50% silk, 35% cotton, 12% polyester, 3% polyurethane.
